And nothing shows off a car in an advert quite like photos taken in the dark. Unless you're in northern Norway there really is no excuse.
I love the use of another cars headlights to partially light it up.

As much as I love the idea of a diesel V8, I think that that is too much money for that car with that mileage and only two pictures
That ad is awful, but they have a worse one...

'Parasailing central locking'. No idea what that is even supposed to be!

Why not. They don’t depreciate at all when you’re winding back the odo
Who's going to pay for the fuel in this alternative reality that you are postulating, fuelled by a healthy injection of group think?

Yep that car is as dodgy as they come. Tyres in 7k? You’re having a laugh.
I've little to zero experience of running anything like that lexus, but how many miles would you expect to get from a high powered, heavy, 'sports' model lexus?
I got less than 10k miles from a pair of Dunlop's on my old 325i with no wheelspinning or tom foolery. Just Interested in what you think is normal wear.

Also I run transit vans round the city on on residential streets. High curbs and tight 1930's streets mean they pick up wear to the tyre walls that then pick up advisories at mot time.

A mate looked at this car https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

Not high mileage but it looks a bit suspicious. Rear passenger seat and drivers seat look well used to my eye. MOT history looks dodgy. First MOT with 13k miles and tyre wear advisories. 1k miles in last year.

Arm rest photo shows wear also.
Tyre and brake pad wear, worn interior and no MOT. Not a chance that's done less than 129k
To be fair to the seller numbers & adding up obviously isn't a strong point... "was established in 1973 and is still going strong 35 years later"

Even AT themselves say it's nearly twice what it's worth.

Absolutely lovely, lost nearly £50k in 5 years, but not sure I'd want one with that mileage!

It’s back, was on this thread a year ago when Sytner Nottingham was trying to sell it for £21000 with 210k

Not massive miles over the years but quarter of a million miles in a yaris verso, is there anything more grim to do 15k a year in for 17 years?

I did a little looking as I remember it from when it was for sale first time around. It was owned by head of used cars there. He took it all over Europe, only ever serviced at Sytner Nottingham.

“Hugely” ? It’s got a year’s MOT and is a practical automatic - how cheap do you want it?
