Hugely over priced surely?
“Hugely” ? It’s got a year’s MOT and is a practical automatic - how cheap do you want it?
A 17 year old car, with 245k on it?

£500 at most.

I think you need to understand the car to pass comment on it, I watched one go through the block this week with 23k miles on it and made £2700 + fees which will be on someones forecourt and will fly out at £4495. These automatic Yaris Verso's are still very popular

It’s certainly got a varied MOT history but seems to have had any necessary work done without humming and hawing. Quite a bit of suspension refreshes too and no mention of rust even going back 3-4 years. Could be a bargain if it’s been serviced regularly.

And the interior will feel every single one of those 202.000 hard miles biggrin

Haggle and you'd probably get it for that. For some reason, the Yaris commands good money even though they're ghastly. Pretty bulletproof though I guess.

That's very true. I own an RS Megane from 2006 and owned another from 2005. Both fantastic cars but I can't imagine the interior would hold up well to a mileage that high. I may be totally wrong of course.

That said if it's been serviced regularly then it could be a good buy. Even if the interior was a bit tired, as a track car it would be idea. Lovely colour for the R26 models too!

I've had a couple of Trophy's in the past, both with less than half those miles and they were already a squeaky rattlefest

Further to my musings on the LS600h.

244k. Wear on the buttons for the rear seats so suggests a taxi/chauffeur car of some description.

Will be surprised if it goes over £6k as that's getting within 2k of cars a 100k younger and it doesn't have the rear relaxation pack for the full on powerfully built image.

I bought a NI Shuttle a few years ago with 180k on it for £3,700. The body looks better on this silver one than mine but that seat rip looks identical, mine might have been clocked and I have a different engine in it. The 1.9 is cheaper to swap and get parts for. I would say its worth about £4k even from a dealer. The seats are worth £400ish as they have armrests on.

That's got "Ferrying Pensioners to their Southampton Cruise Ship" written all over it.
Will mainly have been driven sedately for long journeys.

Gosh, this owner deserves a high five. Devil's pump though.
It’s back, was on this thread a year ago when Sytner Nottingham was trying to sell it for £21000 with 210k
I know we all want our cars for nothing but I think its priced about right. What do you guys think?

Edit - with an electric tow bar why is it sticking out in all the pics?

Does look well, but £7.4 k seems crazy, even £4k seems like a lot for a 12 year old van that's on the return leg from the moon. Are these Transporters really that good?

My mate has one of those. He leaves the tow bar out because it rattles like hell when it’s retracted so maybe that. Or it could be broken or maybe it was just left that way

I did a little looking as I remember it from when it was for sale first time around. It was owned by head of used cars there. He took it all over Europe, only ever serviced at Sytner Nottingham.
I'd have that in a heartbeat as it has a year warranty and it looks in top condition. Working hours are probably equal to a 100k miles car. With that said, please no one buy it as I need a car sold before I can buy it myself smile

This did nearly 90k in one year and has never even had an advisory;

259,000 mile E Class

Am I mad to be considering this for my 20k a year commute?

Not at all - my 210k mile E Class just trundles along. And I’d say that 90k in a year shows it’s always running with a warm engine and won’t have been thrashed.

Cars nowadays can do [b]huge[/] mileages

The German classifieds are awash with moon mileage ex-taxi E Classes. This one for example with a million km (although it looks like it's had a new motor at 700k).
