I suspect it was an early one, & not necessarily representative, trouble is that a poor experience sets the expectations for the rest. A friend loves the smaller Peugeots, treats them with total contempt & they seem to soak it all up regardless
56 plate is that an early one ? .., last MOT in ‘19 it had 170k on it But in my sample of one .. it was a great car

Could this be due to the relative value of Land Rovers compared to other stuff which may be scrapped as deemed uneconomical to repair?
I’m led to believe the components on LR (and Jag) stuff is cheap crap and that’s why they break so much. Can anyone verify?
I don’t know anyone who hasn’t had major issues with their Range Rovers. And they have all been < 5 years old and < 60k ish miles.
In the family I can think of around a dozen Range Rovers and Discovery and I can't recall any of them having serious problems. The odd thing here and there for sure, but nothing too bad.I’m led to believe the components on LR (and Jag) stuff is cheap crap and that’s why they break so much. Can anyone verify?

I'm still wary of them though, which is probably unfair
Would anybody like a good-looking black Italian estate with nice red leather seats? Under 800 quid.

Would it help if it had some really odd roof damage, and had hit a six figure mileage twice now, once in the traditional miles, and then having lost nearly 100k somewhere, latterly in the more Italian kilometres? Because someone was Polish, apparently. fk knows what's going on here but I think I'm out.

Ive been driving this car - GORGEOUS LOOKS IN THE BEST SPEC - need a good home who will sorts issue out , i dont have the time .
sold as seen
ENGINE KNOCKING (bit still drives) & slight damage to rear quarter near roof rack (see pic)
I see - so £695 for an Alfa that has a rusty wheel arch, poor paint job at rear, a gouge in the roofline just below the roof rack and a knocking engine (And apparently the vendor has still been driving it) along with dubious mileage.sold as seen

I assume you could break it for a profit? Can’t imagine the red leather seats are cheap!
This is the only sensible thing that could happen to this car.Engine knackered, interior looks ok, some body panels in a popular colour. don't imagine the lights are cheap new if they all still work.
