This 'thing' reminds me of the Porsche Cayenne - inasmuch as they appear to have taken their sportscar and 'cartoonified' it into a SUV
This sums it up in a nut shell

I have been in LM big bad and the only thing it nevered pasted was a petrol station. Hope the new car is the same, but use a bit less petrol.

Looks like Lotus has sold Lambo some pots of chrome red paint.
Never did I think I'd see the day that Lamborghini would be taking influence from Mansory.

Absolutely dire. At least the LM002 had the pretence of military service surrounding it.

that makes this

look like this:

Although they do have a 4x4 history, it is sad to see them jumping on the SUV bandwagon, but hey at least they did it their way I suppose.

More than pretence - I thought it was a proposal for the contract that eventually resulted in the Humvee? If not directly then similar anyway.

How many VAG prestige brands need to go down this particular path before they're seriously sullied? frown

I saw the electronic advert at Old Trafford while watching Sky at the weekend and the 2 page ad. inside the front cover of CAR Magazine for 'Like father like son' Audi advert. What, no ECOTY Audi 100 C3?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDW_Hj2K0wo

'Urus'?

It's a planet or a name for a Cowell massaged boy band?

What are these people going to do with the Ducati brand? Countless Foggy limited editions?

Agree.

It's funny, on the Ducati/Audi thread someone linked to an article in Wired.

"Lamborghini is healthier and produces more appealing products than Ferruccio could ever have dreamed for (under VW ownership)".

I think he spoke too soon.

What ever happened to this?

Madness if they make a SUV over this.

Estoque? Haven't we seen that rear end styling on the road on the back of a fastback Audi?

When's the Ducatti SUV due? It's only a matter of time now it's owned by the Bosche.

Mind you, I wish we had the same desire to flog Mansoryesque tat to the Chinese.

An x6 with a Cayenne front end. There is nothing wild about it - it looks completely conventional.

Nothing but a pointless profit maker, it's sad VAG are misusing the brand like this.

Urus? UR US? Ideal for those seeking to adopt western values of wealth and materialism?

One upside from VAG trashing brands like Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche with stuff like this is that brands like Ariel, Caterham, Morgan and Noble will be strengthened with proper car enthusiasts?

Pure, wholesome brands that mean something rather than a name and price tag that can be attached to anything?

Urus should be a name for a Stateside Quattro with nods towards Pikes Peak.

It's Lamborghini telling us it's a not invented here Audi?
