Beware, Morgans are addictive smile

FYI Last plus 8's made were 2000 I believe until the arrival of the latest one though your self imposed budget won't stretch to the new one.

You will get an S1 or S2 (Just) Aero for your budget (maybe a tad over) though.

I have your mail and will reply biggrin
I could spend more - £50k maybe.

I didn't know the plus 8's finished the previous model in 2000 - useful info.

Can you not get something similar to, older and better looking than the morgan which will also be cheaper?

No idea.

It's the Morgan which has piqued my interest, so I'm not really looking at anything else - apart from flirting with the XKR idea.

Having had some older cars in the past, I found them notoriously 'colourful' in terms of being able to start, or on one occassion, stop. Hideously costly to maintain too.

Morgan. If you don't like it you can always sell it and buy the Jag having lost little money.
This is exactly what I was going to post too. +1.

Yes it's a good point.

Blindingly obvious, but I hadn't thought of it! Fairly typical.

The beauty of these threads is that some other bugger has thought of something obvious that I haven't thought of. Makes a change for me to have the thought instead for once! smile

So anyway, forgetting all the rhetoric posted - do we have a decision yet?

Well I'm waiting to exchange and complete on a property I'm selling before doing anything..... I've had an offer, but they're buggering about,

I haven't decided on the car yet, I think the 3L Roadster in cream with red leather would be the Morgan.

I'm still very torn between the XKR and Morgan.... Will probably go for the Morgan. Maybe. smile
