Evening all

have just searched 'classic car auction' on google, interested in having a punt on something this summer. but all that comes up is stuff that is the proper classic auctions, such as coys where everything is rather beyond my budget.

do these auctions still go on?? if so is there a list of them anywhere?
cheers
John

Classic and Sportscar magazine has an 'auctions' section along with plenty ads of up and coming events.....

Useful start

BCA used to run the odd one as well. Not sure if they still do.

IIRC there is a weekly paper Classic Car Weekly I think that has the results of the recent Classic Auctions and their locations.

I seem to remember they are in fairly inaccessible places as I considered attending some.

Barons run regular ones at Sandown Park in Surrey. The best for budget stuff is probably Anglia car autions. Do a Google search, should bring up a few.

The classifieds are IMO going to be much more use to you than auctions.
