Did someone post a few weeks back an E46 Alpina B3 S?? One has turned up at work and I'm sure I recognise the number plate, they can't be that common?!

Mileage makes it worth the asking, don't you think?

Not at all. Performance car needs driving, not leaving standing around.

IMO, seeing as low mileage does, oddly, add a premium, it's worth five grand instead of two.

Is it worth £16k more than Chazbaps Throbber one?

Possibly for OBC not trying to do its Big Ben impression on start up...

Nice.

Why's it on neither Throwing Stars or Paras? Didn't think Style 5s were an option for the CSi. I guess they were.

This has done a stload of depreciating:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3890292.htm

That's £50k P.A in depreciation alone.

Nearly a grand a week. eek

Just a great car the Rapide.

I'd rather one of them than a Panamera or even an F01 M5.

2. Hire a car. Safe, but possibly pricey for a continental jaunt.
shout CampDavid!

How much to hire out your 7er?
The Continentals on the rear are new so it's probably not the cheapest way to mad Friday...

Personally, I'd go and purchase this http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3964088.htm from bmthnick1981 (sometimes of this thread)

The 740i is ideal for Germany, the 750il will be hand for France. A massive rear bench and double glazing will aid sleep

There's a bloke 2 doors up from my mum that leaves it parked outside year round. Despite having a perfectly good (and empty!) double garage available. Are they really £190k new?

£155k I thought. Likewise Lefty, with the advantage that I've driven one (all too briefly, sadly), whereas the others have so far eluded my jamminess. Must work on that again...

yes

You can get a huge chunk off a new one but it's still £165-170k

The V8V is ok and DB9 is rather pleasant.

The Rapide on the other hand is just a bit daft. Which is why i like it i suppose. wobble

It also has back doors.

/notaPHmemehonest.

Mind you, if they built a 6er Gran Coupé with the biturbo V12, that'd get my vote instead now. Saw another one today and it looked damned fine.
