IMO, seeing as low mileage does, oddly, add a premium, it's worth five grand instead of two.

Nice. Why's it on neither Throwing Stars or Paras? Didn't think Style 5s were an option for the CSi. I guess they were.
This has done a stload of depreciating:

That's £50k P.A in depreciation alone.
Nearly a grand a week.

2. Hire a car. Safe, but possibly pricey for a continental jaunt.
CampDavid! How much to hire out your 7er?
Personally, I'd go and purchase this http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3964088.htm from bmthnick1981 (sometimes of this thread)
The 740i is ideal for Germany, the 750il will be hand for France. A massive rear bench and double glazing will aid sleep

Just a great car the Rapide.
I'd rather one of them than a Panamera or even an F01 M5.
There's a bloke 2 doors up from my mum that leaves it parked outside year round. Despite having a perfectly good (and empty!) double garage available. Are they really £190k new?I'd rather one of them than a Panamera or even an F01 M5.

You can get a huge chunk off a new one but it's still £165-170k

The Rapide on the other hand is just a bit daft. Which is why i like it i suppose.
