I'm no 964 buff, is that the wrong engine? Does seem pricey then.

Martin Buckley's 504 Coupe went for £1785, well below bottom guide. Seems a bargain.

Wonder if the buyer knows what he's blown £50k on.

On the flip side, it'll be worth more than that in 5 years

£475 for an XJ40 or £675 for an X300.

Almost depressingly cheap

£1100-1200 ish, it seems.

Is there any way of working out which Costco branches fit tyres? Their website is rubbish...
yikesyikesyikes

Is that for OEM spec replacements or just anything decent in that size?

Are your E92 tyres bigger/wider than the 19" option on the E46?
to be fare you don't get much change out of £1k for a full set of 18's on a 911 so don't see why an M3 would be much different

have you tried www.event.co.uk ?
What he meant was: http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/hehe

Get my recommendation as well, and solve all the hassle of fitting: kick back in your favourite chair with a beverage of choice and watch them work on your car at home/work/location of your choice. thumbup
Thanks chaps!! Excellent shout. They'll do a set of Mich PS2s for under a grand.

Or Falken FK453s for under £800... hmmm. How good are the Falkens?

Gaz - they're 245/35/19 on the front and 265/35/19 on the rear

More to the point.... would you rather buy an e92 M3 on Falkens or PS2s?

This.

Will a set of worn contis add £150 to an 11 year old 740i? Think it probably will. Ditto on the PS2 shod E92.

Certainly the Contis all round on my E39 reassured me I was buying it from the right type of owner. Is it bad I have Falkens on the E38?! getmecoat

If you weren't so far away I wouldn't even bother looking at anything else. But you are slightly over my distance limit. tongue out

However, if what I look at tomorrow is rubbish (and the dealer of that LS really didn't seem interested at all, which has not filled me with confidence), I may just take the train over.

Hop on the train anyway. I'll knock your fare off the price, fill you with biscuits and tea and you'll be home in time for beer. It's even got half a tank in it and tax til January.
