Yeah agreed. I also think it's a good idea! Similar in many respects to the age old practice of mechanics tapping spanners around in the pedal box of a car 'adjusting the suspension' for a driver who then declares the 'set up change' a revalation and goes another 2 tenths of a second quicker!

All so-called 'active' dampers should be called reactive as the controlling computer tries to learn the state of the road and adapt the compress/rebound accordingly. I showed a friend with a Cayman how this feature is totally wrong footed (pun) by a very smooth straight road with an isolated pot hole after a few minutes, the Recaro seats tell your spine that the dampers are totally fooled.
Why do seats have foam instead of springs these days? cost I assume.

I've just read all the Eunos/MX5 stories and threads and it seems to prove the old saying, you can enjoy driving a slow car quickly (I never like the word fast) as much or more than driving a fast car faster.
I see you finally put the index mark on the sloping bonnet, quite legal for that K suffix but do you get police 'interest', I have done on my 1971 911S, plate can be white text on a black background.

Sorry, just noticed it's a K prefix not a suffix so I think it's not legal.
