Vauxhall Monaro must make the list surely...?

Sorry EmmaJ, if you want to make the grade, you'll have to get rid of that milksop, power steering equipped poser model, & go get one of the original GTS 327, or 350 Bathurst models from 68 or 69.

No power steering in them, & they were real fun.
Would like one but they are rarer then hen's teeth, I'm lead to believe there are only 2 GTS's in the country.... eek.

I don't think you would feel trouserly challenged pulling up to anything in this.

I was thinking of a DBS too, but the earlier flat fronted ones with the quad headlamps.

Could easily be the poor man man's car.

While some very nice stuff posted, rather a lot of it could easily be trying too hard. Arguably you want something for the weekend but need a suitable classic or easy but dull car for most of the time.
For example, a Trevor or an Ultima (while both full of won in many ways) vs a trying less than obviously hard classic - I know where my swordsman bet would go.

I dunno, Amber Heard looked pretty comfortable in hers in Drive Angry.

Amber Heard would look comfortable in anything - but preferably in nothing.

Saw The Rum Diary the other day - weird film - probably needs a second viewing - but OMFG... Amber Heard in that film WOW.
Shame she prefers lady gardens to manly sausages.

Chad Mcqueen (Steve's son) once said of MX5s, "They're okay for chicks. When I see a guy driving one I feel for him".
He may even see Jay Leno in his.

Which begs the question, of those two who is the genuine car enthusiast?
Who said anything about car enthusiasts? We're talking "Most manly car" not enthusiasts icon - if that's the single proviso we are talking masculinity not "purity of handling and all the controls fell easily to hand" and in that scenario... opinion?.. son of the king of cool or America'a answer to Terry Wogan?
I think you might find that Chad McQueen has a "passing interest" in manly motors.

On Arizona plates? I can't picture a millionaire football player doing a 2,100 mile commute. wink
Fair point but I did ask the bar man in the hotel and he said he was transfered or whatever they do in US footy.

Cool I agree but it just looks a little delicate to be a manly car.

Sorry, gotta be SAS Pink Panther (or DPV), clearly no maniless issues with anyone whoever used one of these in anger or even got qualified to drive one, painted pink just to prove they have no issues with sexuality or compensatory complexes. V8 diesel in current guise just to tick the petrolhead 'V8' engine requirement

And

Just in case anyone wanted to argue the point , a 0.50 cal hmg and 40mm grenade launcher amongst its 'options' list :-)

... but if there were two, one in pink, and one in olive drab, the olive drab one would be more manly.

I think it's a manly car, much more so than the DB4/5/6 (which are lovely, just not manly).
