Don't get me wrong... I drive what I like.

But I can't see myself ever getting behind the wheel of a Fiat 500. Nothing about them appeals to me, along with most small comedy cars.

Fair point but you seem to need justification in your own mind first.

Well I look at a car and I think the myself (does that look good)

I generally prefer saloons, and boxy looking ones at that.

I don't even consider cars like the fiat because to me they look ugly as sin and while for the most part I have a thick skin... I still have standards smile

he wont respect you in your little pink clown car.
And it's manly to crave the respect of a leather clad gimp on a bike?

If you expect respect then you will expect it no matter what you are driving/wearing/etc.

Me neither.

On first reading I read that as "a guy with sandals".

As far as SUV's, I think the Dodge Durango has a certain appeal to it smile

I wouldn't take advice from anyone called Chad.

And that's not even as much of a try hard vehicle as the one you posted.

Pretty much any modern SUV looks like it's trying to look tough. Trying to look tough is not manly.

Only if it lacks the capability to back up the looks.

The durango has the grunt and the tow rating (proper body on frame construction) and comes with 4 wheel drive.

Compare that to land rovers latest offerings.

No it isnt. I don't drive/own a car for respect. I drive it because I like/want to. As for other peoples perception of me? That has very little value in what I chose to drive.
But its academic, the idea of this is to find the most manly car. Personal reasons for not needing a manly car need not apply to this topic.
