Does anyone have any experience of this insurance company. I'm currently with Insurance Choice, and their renewal while not bad isn't really to my standards. However, QMH has come along and provided me with a pretty good quote. Anyone have anything bad to say about them?

They're part of Aviva, but I believe it's a tie-in with Confused.com

As above, apart of Aviva. Been with them last couple of years, competitive and mainly UK call centres smile

To be honest no one else can offer me a better quote. The next best is £450 more expensive!!

I have 2 of my cars insured with them.
By far the cheapest.
I have an Imported twin turbo Legacy for £380 with full NCB, and the S2000 with 2 years NCB was just £250yikes

Aviva is Norwich Union.

They just used Norwich Union for the name of their British operation, before deciding to use the one name for all markets.

Confused have no connection with them, confused are part of the Admiral group.

Was just going on a news story on the Confused.com website claiming to have formed a 'partnership' - but re-reading it, it could simply mean they've allows Confused.com to be a broker for them..

Just insured both my cars with them - they were half the price Admiral quoted for the renewal. All seems fine so far - and they have the backing of a large company like Aviva which is a good thing.

Staggered at the £250 quote for an S2000. My MX5 was the same with 6 years NCD and it's kept off the road in a low risk area, etc.

Well far from happy, saved £2.5k by going elsewhere. It's not like I was trying to insure the USCSS Nostromo at $42 billion dollars either.

I'm a little bit confused at them not accepting my one years NCB though. Any ideas on what will happen to my NCB and the reason for QMH not accepting?

I found swift cover to be cheap. Only 700 quid for a Tuscan S!

Not really. NU was a mutual society formed around the turn of 19th century. Move forward 200 years and the society de-mutualised and became a PLC, which changed its name to Aviva after a merger with GA&CU.

Confused aren't are broker, all it means is QMH has been added to the panel of insurers that have quotes appear when people use confused.
It's the same as churchill, hasting etc using confused to attract customers.
