If money were no object I'd buy that in a flash, love to try one of those.

As much as I love old Fords this is just stupid. If whoever has bought it paid even close to that amount they need to check back in reality occasionally.

That coupe has been meticulously restored to a very high standard indeed. There is a thread on the owners club (FCCUK) forum detailing the work and it looks like a labour of love. It is a lot of money for a coupe, but it is an outstanding example. Oh, and there was another in the classifieds recently even more expensive and it has sold.

I'd also expect such a seller to be aware of the subtle difference an "e" can make. And the difference between Mk III and Mk IV front indicator lenses too...

As good as these are, that's a lot of money for a 4-pot 3 series. In fact, it could be the most expensive 4-pot on PH. Can't think of anything that could be dearer scratchchin

It's nice, but as soon as you drove it you'd halve it's value by getting a bit of grime on the underside.

I'd bet money on it being this: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2952407.htm

Although it *may* sell a bit easier as it's just been reduced by £15k from the price it's spent the last two or three years at.
