... being surprised to find go-go juice down to 129.9, and then finding that the twisties on the way to work are dry and clear of traffic smile

Anyone else find their commute today was better than usual?

My petrol warning light was on. It was raining. There was heavy traffic. I was late for work.

Not a good start!

I watched the match in the pub last night which was selling beer 50p a pint cheaper than normal.

I took full advantage.

I overslept.

I was late for work.

We are very busy.

I feel like st and have loads to do.

Not a good start!!

Very little traffic on the M1! Was quite nice smile

I saw the 129.9 at my local esso yesterday, diesel doesn't seem to have budged much!

Nope. Slept badly then got stuck in traffic. Welcome to London.

And to think when I lived in the Westcountry I could quite realistically expect deserted roads and the occasional dab of oppo on the way to work. That's why I cycle half the time up here.

I'm quite glad I moved back smile A year ago my commute would have been armpit deep in a tube carriage.

Starting the car, realising that the strange 'something is not right' noise from your car is getting worse and is very nearly 'something is broken'.

Also being unable to find an original spot lamp from a mk1 Golf GTi quad light grill as yours is cracked.

Not such a great day (few days).

Loving this answer roflbiggrin

My good start to the day normally involves no work to do ... no kids to teach ... no instruments to mend just me and my Triumph or MG going on a drive around Derbyshire. Gosh, that sounds so anti-social...

Or the very typical girl thing to do - go shopping with my mum and race our V8's back to her house .... biggrin She always wins paperbag says it's experience but I say it's called having many more horses under her snooty German bonnet!
