just spoken to the guy regarding the 728 sport 107k 2 green blobs till next service, mot at end of month no tax. knock from front end he says ball joint, its done 200 miles since last mot had one advisory that rear tyres were different size to front
dunno if its worth it at 1200
Depends on whether you've got the time and patience. (And ideally a tame spanner-man.)dunno if its worth it at 1200
If I had somewhere to keep it, and £3k burning a hole in my pocket, I'd be tempted.

they don't seem to stock pilot super sports which are the replacements for PS2s effectively IIRC - meant £293 not £297

A good example of why most MOT advisories should be ignored.
Yet the ball joint has gone duff in 200 miles. That sounds like it will need money spent on it.
Years tax £220 years mot £50 if nothing needs doing or just a bulb etc.
Now its a £1500 car and you haven't fixed that knocking sound yet.
Sat for a long time with probably not alot of fuel in = more likely to have a rusty fuel tank?
You don't ant to have to fix that so dump it for another.
How old is that picture? doubt someone would leave it on the road with no tax and possibly no insurance.

im really having trouble finding another decent looking 728 within say 100 miles of me. stupidly i have my heart kinda set on a 728 dunno why
but i would have a 328 sport again though but all the good looking ones seem to be autos for less than 2k
something would have to be done about price and lack of mot i agree
If your going to end up spending £3k anyway you may as well do it properly in the first place.

Is that so bad? Assuming you weren't planning on using it for track days, do you need the hooliganability of spanish cogs? It's not a bad auto.
no i suppose not and tbh an auto does give it slightly more cruising ability something like this
