Yup, for a similar example look at the Ram ProMaster. Also, 3.X litre V6 engines are so cheap in the USA that a 2.0 diesel would sell at a higher price, while most customers would consider it inadequately small and underpowered.

According to Car and Driiver it does 0-60 in 8.1 seconds. It also states 'a 174hp turbo diesel four is a pricey option'.
They build millions of V6 engines to go in pickups as well as cars, so the economies of scale are gigantic and make European diesels pale into insignificance. Also, Americans only really drive automatics which don't deal well with torquey Diesel engines unless they're quite expensive. Plinth said:

And me - Mine was white... looked like a rocket ship compared to my other cars of that era (I'm guessing around 1984 ish)Oh, the folly of youth...
Although in my defense it wasnt at the forefront of my toy car collection all those years ago, and it wasnt until I saw that ebay advert today that I'd even remembered having the toy version.

Actually... I fancy a Volvo 360 reboot. A 480 reboot might be pretty neat too.
The C30 was sort of a 480 reboot? The 480 itself being a semi P1800es reboot!Anyway my parents and grandparents had several Volvo 340s between them when I was younger (actually I count a total of 6!) so I have a weird soft spot too - 360 GLT only though!

It's a Ford Transit, but it's the American one, which comes as standard with a 3.7 V6 petrol engine, which I never knew
310PS and 540Nm!
A Puma or new Panther diesel is as expensive an engine to buy.....

Fiat Idea
Looked small, about the size of a Picanto, wonder why it never caught on
This was Fiat's, Renault Modus or Vauxhall Meriva; IIRC it was quite expensive, hence why it was a flop.Looked small, about the size of a Picanto, wonder why it never caught on

Chrysler no longer exist in the UK pretty much because Lancia no longer exist
I think you can still buy a Ypsilon in Italy, but that's it
Yes and the site has a real grasp of irony - https://www.lancia.com/I think you can still buy a Ypsilon in Italy, but that's it
I also looked at Chrysler's website and the only website options for Europe are Azerbaijan, Iceland and Russia.

FIAT at one point were producing loads of MPVs, they had the Idea, the Multipla, the Ulysse, the Scudo, the Doblo, the Qubo vans all in MPV form all available at the same time

Obviously i knew Volvo 360's existed, but i didn't know anything about this one's existence:
The 360 GLT RSX2. Saw a Swiss-stickered one out in the wild on the M5 approaching Bristol today, with body graphics (which is what drew my gaze). Thanks to pooey smartphones taking too many seconds to unlock and find the camera, i wasn't quick enough to get a photo.
It's a superhot GLT, is it?!

What did they do? Put a B23 Turbo intro it?
We had 360 GLTs back in the 1980s. I remember them as great cars. The 440 Turbo that replaced out last 360 was rubbish by comparison.
I always liked the GLE saloons. In 1986 they made a special edition with leather air con and Ocean Blue (219) paint.
I only learnt recently of a 340 Sport model made before the 360s with a B19 lump in it.

Ssangyong Tivoli XLV estate. I knew of the hatchback Tivoli, I didn't know they made an estate version. Now that I've seen one, I want to forget about it so that I don't know it exists again...
This picture makes it look sort of ok, but seeing a basic white one in a car park, the rear just looks weird. Odd shaped lights and creases in odd directions.
