Saw this 2 weeks ago in France. Opel GT
I have since found out that Vauxhall never did a RHD for the UK....
I remember there was a lot of buzz about those in the motoring press at the time, it was meant to be a sort of replacement of the VX220 but had a very difficult birth starting life as a Pontiac Solstice, but they changed all sorts of things on it to make it more euro-buyer friendly until GM said it had become impossible to make it RHD or something and it never came here. I have since found out that Vauxhall never did a RHD for the UK....
Not sure if this has been posted before, but I saw one of these on the M60 this afternoon...
Now, I thought what anyone else might think - a Vauxhall Astra convertible.
But no - this is the Vauxhall Cascada. It is an Astra convertible, of course, just with a more pretentious name, but for some reason its introduction had completely passed me by.

Stumbled across this today, searching for 208 facelift, after driving past a Pug dealership and being confused as to what I saw (probably just a 308). I never heard or knew of this until I saw this picture.
Jeesus check out the front of it...ajprice said:

So, it's a 206 pickup (doors are 206, and those vents in the bonnet), with a 207 front end, and 1007 rear lights. Any other Peugeot parts bin bits? Pug
Vauxhall
Ford
They've been doing them for years, my mates got a mk3 Escort one.

A SAAB 9-4X.....I had no idea it existed till I saw this in Sweden in July.
Although I guessed correctly at the model number when googling it.
One of 457 made,in Mexico [weirdly for a SAAB]
Anyone know if any made it to the UK ?
It was due a UK launch at the end of 2011. The car was produced by GM in Mexico for SAAB. However GM deciding to pull production early in '11 due to likely sale to Youngman obviously killed the car and any hopes of a UK launch. Although I guessed correctly at the model number when googling it.

I haven't scanned all 21 pages, so apologies if this is is a repeat.
Fo me it has to be the BMW Z1. I never knew there was such a thing until one turned up at a classic auction at BCA and I got to drive it (a very short distance).
I'm officially old, I remember these being released! Reading the Autocar review in the shop where I was a paperboy, I might even have bought the magazine for a change, perks of the job!Fo me it has to be the BMW Z1. Is it wrong to like those? I have no practical need but I would possibly buy one if they were for sale in the UK. I seem to remember Skoda did one in the UK and maybe Proton? Showing my age again but I also remember the Sierra variant, was it P100 or something?Pug
