Is the 'later ho' number plate a shop or an actual press photo?

They've used "118 AHO" as the image can be mirrored to show the car either left or right hand drive and the plate would make sense in both settings - either "118 AHO" or "OHA 811".

Arteon or similar.

That's just the rebranded Passat CC.

It's actually a rebranded "VW CC", which itself is a rebranded "VW Passat CC".

It's a new car on a completely different platform. Same segment, yes, but a bit more than a rebrand.

I have heard of Polestar as a Volvo trim level, but not as a separate brand of electric car.

Looks great doesn't it?

I'm guessing you've not read the motoring press for the last 3 months...?? wink

Clearly not. I tend to get car news from here and brand specific sites. It popped up yesterday as a Facebook advert.

I was behind one on the M1 yesterday, IIRC it's the replacement for the Passat CC

Maybe we need a separate thread for “New mass produced cars which you didn’t realise had been released” smile

The Arteon falls into that category and is the CC replacement. It’s more than just a rebrand...

i think the point of these type of cars, and many manufacturers have this type of thing in their lineup now, is that people go oh well it's lots nicer than the XYZ boring model just below it. They both need to exist to make it work.

That makes sense but the Ford badge isn't reversible so if they are going to photoshop it then can surely manage a plate too.

Maybach S650 ?

Having a look on AT to see what the Facelift S-Coupe and I see this!

Since when did this exist and How on Earth is this 313 grand? Looks no different to a standard S500 apart from the chrome, badges & wheels, what’s Mercedes thinking?

and even worse than what you've said, it actually looks no more special than a £25k sport spec E-class coupe!

I really like the rover streetwise. Always wanted one but was scared off by the usual head gasket stuff. Might pick one up some day.

Perhaps it's my eyesight, but on first viewing that lower air intake chrome looks like some sort of 'roo bar, or, given it's location, a sheep bar.
Perhaps this belongs in the "Cars that shouldn't exit" thread.

I saw this the other day and had no idea it existed. Suzuki Kizashi 2.4 Sport 4x4:

Reminds me of the similarly obscure Suzuki Swift GLX 4x4 Saloon:
