Maybach S650 ?
Having a look on AT to see what the Facelift S-Coupe and I see this!
Since when did this exist and How on Earth is this 313 grand? Looks no different to a standard S500 apart from the chrome, badges & wheels, what’s Mercedes thinking?
and even worse than what you've said, it actually looks no more special than a £25k sport spec E-class coupe!Having a look on AT to see what the Facelift S-Coupe and I see this!

Aside from the fact that, in the flesh, it doesn't, the unassuming look is what their target customer wants.
Unassuming? They're as tasteful as Liberace's bungalow. What other £300k car looks 'normal'? The Saloons are even more so.
We've just come back from New York, our hotel had a new Maybach saloon. You have to double take to see it isn't an S-Class....until you step inside where it's a different world. That is what MB wants for the Maybach brand.

That looks better than an X6. He didn't show its 'best' angle....
In the Actyon's defence, the above is a very old model which was improved somewhat by a facelift, and then replaced entirely with something altogether less offensive.

That might be the nicest thing I've seen in this section, very lovely. Not some run of the mill car with an unusual engine/transmission variant but rare works of art.
Thanks for posting it.
