The Alfa TZ influence in the Fighter is fairly clear, so it’s hardly surprising there are certain similarities.
They are vaguely the same shape (ie cabin back, long bonnet) but I wouldn't go any further than that.
I think the Fighter was a pretty nice design (for a Bristol at least) but I seem to remember ridiculous pricing.
I think NomduJour was referring to the Alfa GTZ family not the TZ3 which post-dated the Bristol Fighter.

Based on Dodge Viper, as was the Bristol Fighter

That explains the rather dubious proportions.
Had to look up the cost of these, not as much as i thought it would be. Very tempting indeed.

This is both a "didn't know existed" ,until I saw it and a "what is this car ?" pic post.

It's neither a FIAT or a SEAT.

Spotted in Maranello on Wednesday.

From another thread on here, thought I knew my 70s coupes - nearly bought an Opel GT as my first car - but had no idea this existed, SAAB Sonett:

That's just the Sonett 3.
Google Sonett 2 and Sonett 1.

I think there is some Alfa TZ in the Toyota and Nissan rather than the other way round!

To be fair, when you're packaging an 8-litre V10 in a front-engined, rear-drive car, then you're going to end up with a long bonnet and a relatively rearward-placed cabin.
or your 'car' is just not long enough

Ah, I see your problem. You're confusing "car" with "not a car, but a flipping huge truck".

wink

Teasing aside, I bet a Dodge RAM V10 is a giggle.

Mercedes SL73 AMG R129

I was getting some work done on one of my cars when the owner showed me a Mercedes SL73 being rebuilt.
Not actual car in picture.

1 of only 85 7.3 Litre v12 good for ~518HP
There was one for sale in the car park at Tecno Classica last year

Toyota Probox.
All over the place here (East Africa).
Hateful things, driven by lunatics, often full of drugs (khat) from Somalia.

Saw one of these recently:

A Honda Passport. Looked totally weird, like when someone puts a Mercedes badge on a Peugeot or something. Must have been used to fill a gap in their range for some reason.
