Wtf!
Am I googling wrong or are you just suggesting a trim level of a common hatchback with a slightly wacky name?
If you're googling wrong then so am I hehe

Me looked earlier too.

It must be one of those 'must have' buys
Imagine letting your mates know you have a Seat Ibiza Sportrider yes
Or maybe not let them know, imagine their surprise when they find out. scratchchin

Wrong on all counts. The 300 was never based on a Mercedes E-Class, and the Lancia badge-engineered version ran alongside the Chrysler because they don't have any presence in Italy.
I got bored of pointing this out something like ten years ago hehe

I think it's one of those car facts that came from Jeremy Clarkson
It has elements of E-class in it, some shared development with the 211.

Is that saying it was Mercedes rear end?

This object in the local pub car park. Hyundai Amica, apparently. Absolutely mint condition, it has to be said. MOT history site says it's doing about 500 miles a year at the moment, so this is probably a rare day out for it.

How do people end up with something like this?

I saw a Nissan Almera the other day - I thought they'd all been pushed off a cliff

Not completely wrong, the Chrysler platform was based on the Mercedes W211 E-Class dating from the disastrous Daimler/Chrysler tie up.
No, it wasn't.

It inherited shades of the E211 rear end, more inspired by than anything. The 300 had an MB steering rack in it, and that was about the extent of the shared parts.

Not sure if it’s been on before, but saw this at Port Petit, Cala D’Or Majorca.
Alpine LS6.

It was filthy and full of crap inside. Bravo.

Assuming it means a GM LS6, then I doubt it's a real Alpina. Or, at least, not an original one.

^knackered old BMW^ - not an Alpina, or an "LS6" whatever that is, I'm afraid - just a very tired old 6 series.

In a very similar vein.. the early model Focus as a saloon.

I knew they existed, but just seemed a bit rare when you are so used to seeing the hatch model.

Well it’s not on British roads and I’m sure they pay all their taxes in Spain for it. Luxury yacht owners are renowned for helping the taxman as much as they can aren’t they?

Those MkI Focus saloons do look odd mind even when you see one on a semi-regular basis, you just can't get your head around the gawky looks.

They are the cockroach of the car world; I guarantee if you make an effort to keep an eye out for them, you'll see more than 3 every time you go out for a drive. Almost all of them tend to be on 52 plates as well for some unknown reason.
