Sorry, The Countryman!

Don't mind that at all - ruggedly handsome and much more so than the previous derivatives

One of my neighbours has one of these, a Skoda Karoq. I might have seen like a thousand of them, it might be the first I have ever seen, I have no idea, everything looks the same these days.

I saw a new Superb the other day which looked exactly the same as an Octavia. Skoda clearly going down the Audi design route then.

Q2/T-Cross/Arona (no skoda variant yet)

Q3/T-Roc/Ateca/Karoq

Q5/Tiguan/Kodiaq (no seat version)

Skoda's Q2/T-Cross/Arona won't be far off and will be a slightly de glitzed version of the Vision X concept https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/skoda/91160/skoda-to...

SEATs Tarraco is being released imminently and sits alongside the Kodiaq etc in the VAG SUV range.

Q2 is actually bigger than the Arona and T-Cross, it’s a sister car to the T-Roc. Skoda don’t make anything that small yet.

New Q3, Ateka, Tiguan and Karoq are the same car. Think that’s the only size all 4 make!

The Tiguan AllSpace, Seat Taracco and Skoda Kodiaq then sit alongside each other as the larger 7-seat MQB derivatives

Audi Q5 is a bit of an odd one out as their isn’t a cheaper version! It sits on the MLB platform like an A4 or A6 etc

MQB is modular 'baukasten' with a transverse engine, (quer) MLB is with a longitudinal. It's not really like the same floorpans on those cars, they can pretty much be any size

The 412 was just a face-lifted 411.

There's also the Brazilia, which is kind of a SWB 2-door 412 Variant.

I have seen this live at some aircooled quartermile meetings, like it a bit, rear engine, RWD, lots of luggage room,

only downside is that working on the engine when installed is quite hard, but they are quite easy to drop out.

I think the windscreen (maybe) and doors( surely) are from the Golf Mk1,

the bumpers also look a bit golf-ish albeit curved but with turn signals in them.

The wheel base is wrong for a C124?

Love that! Really like the colour too. There’s probably a better choice of wheels but I really like the car.

Apparently they moved the c pillar forward by 25cm. Can't imagine that was cheap!
