Common mistake. A Saab with a Carlsson badge was in honour of the Saab Rally driver Eric Carlsson. Mercedes (and Citroen) German tuner Carlsson is completely separate, founded by the Hartge brothers, and named after another Swedish Rally driver Ingvar Carlsson. The Hartge brother's uncle was Herbert Hartge, the BMW tuner.

"Carlsson", named after Swedish rally driver Ingvar Carlsson, is a German tuning company that specialises in Mercedes, and produces monstrosities such as this:

Whereas "Carlsson" is a sports trim level of Saab named in honour of rally legend Erik Carlsson who drove Saab's for most of his career, and included such legends as this:

I'd associate Carlsson with Saab, not Mercedes and definitely not a Citroen. That Carlsson Citroen C5 though, sort of want! hehe

Whilst I confess that I rather like that C5 interior I see that it came out, sadly only as a one-off, in 2010 yet was the previous generation C5 that ran until 2008. I wonder why?

Not sure. They've done more recent C5's too it seems...

This is based on a C5 3.0, and has 335bhp.

i remember those citroen carlsson things from when my family had citroen dealerships. I am fairly sure the only ones that exist are the ones in the marketing photos.

That's more than averagely horrible. Doesn't look like there's any way of accessing the "Shooting Brake" part of the car.

Oh come on!

It's got two rear view mirrors, two blokes in yellow shirts sat beside it, and a very wobbly roof.
