Isuzu V6 3.2 4x4

Shame about the name, its a TOD.
Is it OK to REALLY like that? It's so ridiculous, it almost makes sense.
If you can put up with the annoying voice Doug DeMuro recently did a feature on the VehiCross:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOszin9227Q&

I think it was ahead of its' time - if it came out a decade later (2009) it would have been many times more popular IMO, and it had proper 4x4 underpinnings rather than being a soft-roader.

I have a soft-spot for it only because when I was a kid I had a matchbox model of one!

Ok so it’s a van, but I’ve never seen one of these before until I saw a Royal Mail one in deepest Carmarthenshire on its rounds, that was a long wheel base one

Basically a partner can with higher ground clearance and I think 4WD
the 4x4s are made by Dangel

If they had just delivered on the original idea instead of turning out a standard ride-height Altea with a plastic nappy it might have worked....

It wasn't standard ride height nono it was a mighty 40mm taller than other Alteas.

hood up its hideous
hood down its stunning
Strange as French CXs had the full lights and the Yanks got the round ones that don't look like they fit yet that is a Frech reg, I assume.

All the postys have them here. wondered were they 4WD.
I don't think they are 4WD. I believe they are the "GRIP" version:

Increased ground clearance and large 16” wheels with Mud +Snow tyres
Under body protection plate
Enhanced traction with Advanced Grip Control
Three front seats with Multi-Flex modular folding passenger bench seat
Hard plastic loading floor protection
1000 kg payload
LED lighting in the rear load area

that's stunning - but what's the chrome 'winder' looking thing in the passenger footwell - surely not the windows? looks like switches on the dash for that.
I think the lever thing might be the door handle. The clock-winder thing might be for an opening quarter-light.
i'd be stuck in it if I had to reach to my feet to open the door
You must have extremely short legs. That will be about the same distance as your knees.

According to the Ad this is a 2006 CADILLAC ESCALADE EXT 6LTR V8. Never seen the pick up version before. Not that glad I have now tbh.

Comes with babypoo wood veneer too...
I really don't want to live in a world where that exists or one where people would buy it.
I think it looks great!

Once saw one in that most glamourous of places, Heston Services. Some kind of dark grey metallic IIRC.

They only survived in the UK until late 2009; the Altea XL was facelifted (mostly on the inside) and Seat UK took the opportunity to kill the Freetrack. They continued on the continent though in facelift guise.

It was actually a Ghia body from a scrap Fiat 8V that John Willment fitted to a spare Cobra chassis.

I've driven 4 Altea Freetracks (when new) they are quite rapid as they had either the 2.0 TDI 170 engine or the Golf GTI petrol TFSI 200bhp. Had TV screens in the back, unusual patterned seats and dash. Haldex 4wd system. Quite decent cars and relatively cheap to buy new and even more so now, it's difficult to recommend to someone without trying them and having to explain it. It's basically a bulbous Audi A4 allroad (I know it's Golf based platform). I even see 2 yellow ones going about!

So, how are things on the forest moon of Endor? hehe

I've found this other shot of the interior that reinforces my viewpoint; there's no sign of anything else that might be a door handle.
