Seat not Fiat.
I know, but other than the badge were there any differences?
131 sold pretty well, no idea they had done a Seat version before now.

I think Seat did a whole range of Fiats from the '70s, from 127 upwards?

In the 1970s and early 1980s the Seat range pretty much mirrored the mainstream Fiat range but was just for Spain. They may have exported the Seat 133 and 127 5dr to be badged as Fiats.

Not many differences, mostly limited to grilles / badgework / trim and engines. They used the old Seat 124 1438cc and 1756cc engines, and a lot of funky diesel conversions, mostly using the Sofim diesel engine.
They're still relatively cheap in Spain (I've been looking passively when I'm there).

Slightly tenuous link but a VW Kombi with double cab and drop side pickup - super cool for camping and outdoorsy things
in VW T3 terms, a Kombi is a van with windows, which could also be a Bus or a Caravelle, depending on spec, that there is a DoKa (Doppelkabine - double cab) Pritsche (pick-up)
And the coolest doka is the synchro

A rather shabby one for sale here (look like a 3 door one too)

Surely the coolest T3 was the Porsche powered B32. 15 built but never made production as it was deemed to be too expensive.

I feel this could be a candidate for Shed of the Week if it were on Pistonheads classifieds (and possibly collectible to someone)...how about a Rover 400 2.0 420 T GSi tourer?

2.0 turbo T series petrol engine. Little known fact is the engine's were electronically limited to a lower torque output than capable of, due to the gearbox fitted!

On of my favourite estate shapes in my favourite colour as well. Had it been closer and not at the other end of the country, the desire to sperlunk the cash down would probably be clawing at my wallet despite 2019 being the year of wallet thraping proportions (comparatively speaking).

Here's an oddity I've never seen before.....

If the plates are original ,a US spec FIAT 500 ,what strange headlights.
It's a US-spec 500 America. The lights are to meet the height/position regs of the time.
In addition, all US-spec cars at the time had to use standard size sealed-beam headlight units which were considerably bigger than the Euro style 500 headlights, making the pods necessary to satisfy the US regs.

Also note the larger bumpers on the US car compared to the Euro-spec model in the background.

This has just appeared in my FB feed, someone was saying it was built for Sir Stirling Moss? Looks AUssie or Kiwi plate, anyone know anything about it?

It's a prorotype Ford Cortina. Might have been restored for Stirling Moss, but wasn't 'built' for him.

That’s a Ford Australia creation, built by an external coachbuilder and the sole four-door.

The Moss fastback Cortina was a two-door, designed by Ogle and built by Radford.

Friend of mine had one of these as a cheap load lugger. Paid £300 for it from some old dear. It was surprisingly rapid and could easily chuck two mountain bikes and kit in the back without faffing around with roof bars etc.

I was about to jump in and say ‘what the C5’ should have been... however, developed 1 year after the C5 and only est. 900 sold - whereas the C5 sold 5000 (although 14000 were made)

Really not a fair comparison, although I’d rather risk the Twike over a C5!

Mythical Velar.

Parked in a Disabled Space, obviously.
