A new one on me that I saw on Twitter, a Taiwanese stunner sold briefly in the Netherlands to try and tackle the European market. Was a complete flop with about 130 sold apparently.

The Yue Loong Feeling.
I'd have thought you'd know those from FlickR, that is one of Rutger van der Maar's spots/photos. Neat looking saloons.

...ooo they've got 1984 Renault Gordini (not too sure about the pearl paintwork) nice though.. but £70K - can't say if thats overpriced or not.
It isn't a "Renault Gordini", but £70k is currently bang on for a Renault 5 turbo 2, which is what that is. The paintwork is correct, too.

It's apparent that they have cars from two different dealers (the differing photo quality, and only certain cars have the prices in their windscreens), but the Renault, among others, is sufficiently specialist, that I'd steer very wide around one offered by a dealer that also sells 200,000 mile Passats.

Clio 4 d'occasion

Et avec une famille:

It's a pity Renault Sport never breathed some magic over the estate Clio or Mégane.

In Europe you could get a fairly brisk Megane estate on the old model. From memory it was a 2 litre petrol, at the time 95% of all Megane sold in the UK were the 1.5 diesel so you can kind of see why we didn't get it here

2 wheel drive older shape RAV-4 (2001-2005 shape).

I had no idea of this till I took one for a drive and it had wheel spin as soon as I left the woman's drive - was not expecting that.
A quick look underneath - the damn thing is only front wheel drive - what is the point of these things?
I'd guess this was one of the first non 4wd SUV things so chosen purely for 'the look'.

MPG. They give the best MPG of the mk1/2 RAV4 range, 38 mpg.

You could get the Megane GT 220 Tourer over here. Same engine as the RS but de-tuned. Great car, sold in tiny numbers. Renaultsport developed chassis etc.

This reminds me of those car insurance adverts where they have to change the appearance slightly so that they can’t be done for copyright.

yes

Thats a good one.

Although calling it a 'Tiara'?! Kind of sets out their target audience from the get-go.

No idea they existed. I was quite a fan of the AX GT and GTi back in the day. They seemed to have a slight edge over the comparable competition of the Nova SR.

However when I looked at one I realised they built out of tin foil and a lot of plastic.

VW beetle dune. Saw one today for the first time. I was aware of the polo but not this!

Raised suspension only by 10mm but it seemed quite a bit higher in person.

Finally I can contribute to this behemoth!

A roadtrip in the US introduced me to this hideously badge-engineered Buick/Vauxhall Insignia.

I don't think that's too bad at all tbh

What's the point of 4x4 when you only drive on tarmac?

Never had it on the radar either, not a fan of how the rear is styled -- but the rest sounds interesting. Even got a pretty positive review in German Sport Auto where, compared to a Golf GTI the more engaging handling is praised. They also liked the engine. Which if it is only detuned should be good for +280 PS... Hmhmhm.....
