Wow, that is offensively terrible. Makes the Ecoque convertible look gainly.

Saw something today that looked like a Honda BB, but had a pickup back end. Pretty sure it was four doors and then a short, deep load area. Any ideas what it was or which crazy JP sites to look at to hunt it down? Suspect there are 80bn of them in JP, but...

How did we end up with that bloody Fiat saloon after stuff like this?

1939 Duesenburg Coupe Simone Midnight Ghost

and

Zis 101a sport

Art Deco perfection. Never heard of either, but bloody lovely.
1939? bloody hell - both of those are gorgeous

Who on earth was the Zis built for? Stalin?

Only one was built, it seems. It started as an experiment ('what else can we do with the ZIS-101 limousine'), then the plant director made it a showcase and a 'gift to the state' for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the revolution. The car disappeared during ww2.

Chevette pick up

The local Vauxhall dealer (in the 1970s) used to run a 2-door estate version (with panels instead of side windows in the back), badged 'Bedford Chevanne'.

Saw a new one (for me, anyway) called a Fiat Fullback - I thought the name was inspired for a pickup!

My plumber mate had one back in the 80's, I recall one snowy evening having to pull over every few hundred yards to dig the snow out of the recessed headlamps!

That's because Chevanne was an actual model ,not a repannelled estate car.

There was also this one with the earlier DBS four headlamp styling which was used by David Brown as his daily transport for a while....

May I add to the 4 door Aston Martin list the Vantage Special Type I made by Aston Martin Works Service.

I saw one of those in a supermarket carpark about an hour ago in a random polish village. (Dąbrowa Biskupia) My wife was in awe of it until she noticed the Fiat badge.

Looked quite Japanese to be fair and after checking Google it's a mitsubishi with a fiat badge smile

Nice looking thing in all fairness for what it is and not that far removed from that Merc/Navara thing.

I bet myself that it would take 30 minutes for the Top Gear electric car to appear.

I lost. It took an hour and a half.
