I'm not entirely convinced it's any of those things.
You’d be mistaken then.

They are South American, made from 1964 to 1984.

I think it's a Brazilian model, the Veraneio, completely different styling to the squarer US one

Veraneio is a Suburban-style estate/wagon, the double cabs are model C-1414.

Volkswagen Teramont.

But less the car I am interested in and more the engine. I thought the VW VR6 was long gone but no, for the Chinese market they are available with a 2.5l VR6 turbo, 295hp and 369lb/ft.

This same SUV is also built and sold in North America as the Volkswagen Atlas.

In the early 2000s, the Swiss market got a supercharged VR6 in the Seat Leon.
I have no idea why it was only ever sold in Switzerland, the engineering was done by Abt but sold officially through the VAG network as a specific model in the lineup.

Bentley Dominator. I literally just learned of it's existence 10 minutes ago.
I'm sure I read in a car mag - CAR, or Autocar - that these were very poorly put together and the fit and finish were pretty rough. They had a sort of mini-review of the red one i think.

As someone else said, this pretty much kept Bentley in business thanks to mega cash for these little projects.
