Suzuki Hayabusa Sport Prototype. Suzuki's version of an in-house BEC - unfortunately it looks like it never got beyond the single vehicle produced in 2002. H/T Matthew Hayward on Twitter.

they need to change front end (look at the link)

but other than that i think they would have sold, plus already make the engine !!
Panoz meets RX7. Not a bad look...

Pretty much everything Monteverdi is maximum wibble
I had never actually heard of Monteverdi until it cropped up in this thread...and I have to agree with you...lots of wibble inducing cars.
I first heard of them in a set of Top Trumps Sports Cars; if you had it, it was an automatic winner on engine size (7.2 litres).

The Monteverdi Hai was a beautiful thing but apparently a bit of a handful.

Yep, both the Hai and the 375 were in my Top Trumps set and I remember thinking how cool the Hai looked (how the hell I remember that from 30-cough years ago, but can't remember where I left stuff 2 hours ago is beyond me...)

The Rally Raid cars were based on the Dangel and ran a V6. Tough as old boots.

Those of us of a certain age will remember Mark Thatcher getting lost in one.

Feast your eyes on the Toyota Will Cypha. I spotted this specimen driving through Old Trafford earlier today.

Was taken on my phone from quite some distance hence picture quality not perfect.
Seen quite a few in New Zealand. Along with the other Will.

I was wondering, with this new trade deal the EU has with Japan, depending on the outcome of the dreaded B word, we might end up with more grey imports? I can imagine there suddenly being a lot more in Ireland, Cyprus and Malta.

Until today, I'd have sworn black was blue that he'd been in a saloon.

Although sold in their thousands (mainly in the US) does the second gen Saab 9-5 count?

Does it count as what? A car you never knew existed? You'll have to tell us, I'm afraid.

If you didn’t know it existed, I think so

It was never a common car, so many people would be unaware of it

I knew they existed, but I didn't know the Police were using them:

Welcome to my world - ask me where I put my glasses and I mostly haven't a clue ... but I still remember that the turning circle of an Alfa Romeo Montreal was 11.2 metres ...

All part of trying to keep little man Khan happy. There are a few hydrogen powered Toyota things about as well.

I'm guessing you're on the same Facebook page as I am then!! I spotted that earlier today.

From the same page, how cool is this little thing? Renault Floride Convertible

Oooh yes... wasn't this one, was it? World Class Cars Top Trumps set...

Saw one at Goodwood Revival a few years ago - superb.
