So never mind which car is better.

Which manufacturer can give the best customer care? I like the idea of dropping an R8 into a local Audi dealer.

I have a local Ferrari dealer but don't rate them but they are still local without resorting to getting a ferry.

Can McLaren really give great aftercare UK wide?

I'd like to feel if I broke down in County Down they would send a helicopter or something biggrin

From the way they've handled the cars thus far, with their myriad issues i'd say McLaren's customer service has been exemplary. It seems as if they're really placing a lot of emphasis on it, which is more than can be said for Ferrari from what i've been told by those in the know.

Awesome. I liked it before but roof down looks even better. I'd buy one if I had the money.

If you're going to get one, do it properly. McLaren orange (not the metallic one) with black and carbon bits.

Fair point!

Have you seen the FAB design MP4? looks pretty aggressive without being OTT
Yes, very impressed by it especially when you take into consideration their SLS abominations biggrin A little bit more HS/GT3 aggressiveness and it would be fantastic. However it does look very good as is with the roof down. Engine cover looks a bit weedy though..

I understand that there are quite a few folks employed in Woking thanks to this car and the ones that will be a Silverstone at the weekend. How many jobs in the UK are generated by those Audis you posted?
I'm going to suggest that more people list "Audi" as their employer. Head Office staff, Dealers, customer service people, sub contracted companies (logistics etc) So actually Audi AG invest MORE in the UK, than McLaren. biggrinlaugh

'Spy' shots on the road in the US. Looks great in grey and matte black.

P.S. be careful of posting the pictures directly online as the photographer is apparently strict with usage.

Fair point. Then we agree that the purchase of supercars, German/British/whatever, is a good thing.

Phew.

Ooooh! That's nice! Love the flying buttresses, almost gives a kind of "modern Ferrari 308" look to it, especially in red.

Time for a Magnum P.I. re-make? scratchchin

It looks awkward to me. Nice with the roof up but a bit "hacksawed off" when down. However, having recently appreciated an MP in the flesh, I'll be happy to be proved wrong again.
