Anyone using 20" wheels?

I realise it will be a harsher ride but I actually like that! I'm used to driving Jap Turbo'd cars with racing suspension that shake you to bits on a rough road, I like that lol! To me a sports car should be a very firm ride
Want to buy some new dampers? I have a set available for £2,000 for the ultimate sporty feel.See http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/mercedes-benz/...
But the ride is abysmal and the steering even more cumbersome than standard. Unfortunately, Birds UK (the sole importer of Carlsson gear) didn’t have a set of the ultra-light (and ultra-pricey at £6700) 20-inchers that are claimed to offer far better comfort and steering response

26" wheels on a Jaguar S type. Sadly I find myself actually liking it, after all it is a bit, erm, "different"...

And fking stupid.
100% CHAV.
My brother runs 20's on his 5 series. They look awful and the ride is poor because of it despite running on non run flats. It looked even worse when he bought it as the previous owner didn't bother with tyres, he just painted a black strip onto the rims.
Sorry for the poor pic, it's the only one I have of it and it dioesn't really show the wheels! Actually, I think my cousins old Chrysler has 20's on it in this picture too.

They do indeed provide superb steering response and ride comfort compared to other SL55s with 20" wheels that I have driven. They are extremely light and I guess the improved unsprung weight has a lot to do with all this. But the ride is abysmal and the steering even more cumbersome than standard. Dare I say it - I think handling and ride comfort is improved over the 18" turbines.
You are sometimes lucky to see a second hand set on the bay of 'e' at a reasonable price.
Big thumbs up from me.
