And just makes me think a lot of people could make the same video with that many practice runs.
I am being serious i have seen a lot of pher's videos they have posted and a lot of them of got amazing car control.
With all the practice runs he has and all the times he practices in a month i just do not find it that impressive.

Mmmmmmm, wonder how many top rally drivers could match that? Quite a few I reckon.

But to come up with the choreography, the marketing & the planning to make it happen?

That is the real beauty of it.
Any decent writer could write most novels on sale today. It is down to who comes up with the concept and delivers, that matters.

Great vid. Glad someone is out there putting in the effort to create. Certainly beats people that don't whilst whinging and belittling when people do. Far too many "Simon" from the Office characters around these parts lately.

"First day it opened I went down there was doing a few laps and pulled over and the manager comes over to me and says "Oi, mate! No professionals." I said I'm not a professional. He said "Well, you should be mate with moves like that you could be the best in Britain". I said, "No thanks I'm making s*** loads from computers"

"Alright, well, I was bombing it round one time and someone left this ramp out. They all said, "If he hits that, he is dead". So I hit it and rolled over in the air a few times and they said, "Now he is definitely dead". Then I landed on my wheels and pulled over next to them and said, "What you worried about?"

Makes me want a 650bhp 4wd Fiesta. Bet he'd do well in Rallycross.

Agreeing with other posters how did he get permission for that? Imagine the uproar in parts of the UK from residents and councils trying to do something similar here. Block and his sponsors could take a leave out the IOC book and get us to pay for 90% of it if he wanted to film a Gymkhana here.

I preferred the last one with the monsters and Bollywood dancers, but that sideways jump is amazing.

I was wondering if there should have been a silver Puma parked in one of those driveways, perhaps in front of the little yellow house just back from the junction where he did the doughnut. And that scene with the bridge and traffic in the foreground towards the end needed Harry Callahan in suit and shades with his gun being held just by his waist walking along the side of the bridge?

At least even noob rally drivers manage to score a point or more in a WRC stage...

what this vid did make me realise is n that, is that it is not actually sponsored by Monster, yeah ?

I thought it was, like, and then Travis turned up in his red bull helmet and I thought, that's weird, and then I look again n that, and imagine my surprise when I saw it was DC shoes.

wicked.

You do realise DC Shoes was started by Ken Block & he made gazillions of dollars when he sold it in 2004?

You two are seemingly on the wrong website, and I suggest you both seek medical help immediately.

It would appear you are clinically (or at least metaphorically) dead.

Top bloke, will speak to anyone. Very small claim to fame but I helped to powerwash his Impreza when he was over in the UK in 2009 for the McRae Stages.

Great video. I think it's fantastic that people are making short films like this!

And who cares if he's not the only person in the world who can drive like that, the fact is he's the one who bothered to make a video of it, and I enjoyed watching it. Fair play to him.

I was more than bored halfway through that. While the played-out Gymkhana thing is dull now, that video did at least make me think that a rally through the streets of SF would be a good thing.

A car with that kind of grip, power, and throttle response can make an average driver look good. Hold the throttle and the car will pull you from the most incorrect of entry angles, as can be seen from some of his sloppier slides.

He does drive well for a marketing man though. Another very entertaining video smile

Good advertising for Ford, probably works out more effective than a WRC program, at least in the US.

This would have been amazing if he was being chased by a dodge slmethingorother in black and the fiesta was dark green.
