Nice video. I'd love to get one, but would choose an earlier Zonda model rather than one of these (although not driven either). The noise and the looks of the Zonda would probably get my vote first though. Having said that the Hauyra looked much better in the flesh when I saw the prototypes at the factory (before there was pictures so quite early on) than it does in pictures. So who knows. Not likely to have to make the choice!

Having said that it's a very difficult car, more of a GT car, but with the potential for some fun as just demonstrated. It's not so much a direct replacement for the Zonda.

I am into my cars, but that thing doesn’t interest me in the slightest. Anything from hot hatches to more expensive stuff like AMG Mercs, M BMW’s, GTR’s Porsches and stuff like Ferrari’s and Lambo interest me. As whilst they are mostly all stupidly expensive they are within grasp of more people. And even if they aren’t it’s still possible to get to experience one.

That pagini [and cars like the veyron etc] are ridiculous tacky cars made for the worst, most inhuman and basically nasty people with zero morals in the world. Like Arab oil barons. I met a few of them in the middle east when I worked there briefly and they are truly horrible people. Spoilt 18 yr old brats who wouldn’t let a friend take a photo of a Lambo he was sitting in. He said if you want a photo of it, buy your own! This from a brat who looked 18yrs old going by his stupid tash- this sums them and their mentality up.

Pagani customers are people like this. And people like Bob Diamond and other bankers who ruined so many lives. Or dictators and the like. You have to be a complete to buy one of them lol

Except Pagani have sold very few cars to Arabs. There have been (from memory) 3 Zondas sold to them, out of a total of around 125 or so. The one which was converted into the Uno, the Cinque number 5, and a yellow tacky one (which was actually resold to an Arab if I remember correct). So you might want to research a little more. Most are sold to Hong Kong, then the UK is the second biggest market.

Bad people drive GTR's, 458's and MP4-12C's you now.. In fact, I would suggest that bankers are a major part of their customer base.

Very small numbers of these hyper-cars are made. Some of them will be owned by wkers. Some of them will be owned by enthusiasts. Just because you had a bad experience in the Middle East means absolutely nothing.


It is entirely right that someone, somewhere has to make the pinnacle of sports cars. The highest level. And that is the role of makers like Pagani. If they lacked engineering integrity you would have a point in calling them as chariots for nothing but the average Arab Prince in some unelected police state, but they don't lack design or engineering integrity. They are beautifully made cars, the ultimate of their kind.

In short; your prejudices are blinding you to what is an awesome car. Probably the finest sportscar you can buy.

The montage at 4.20 is just pure car p0rn, even the music has a 70's naughty video feel to it. But it just shows how well edited/directed these vids are when they know exactly what the viewer wants is a minute alone to gawp and then finish off (so to speak) with a flurry of revs at 5.20 - fantastic!
