In St Peters Hospital, Chertsey. Wife being induced this evening. Supplies are 3 copies of Evo, free wifi in the ward for youtubing car vids and perusing the PH classifieds and Sky Go on my iPhone.

Hoping the next major F1 star's life will begin in the next 24hrs...

It's gonna be a ride and a half!

Good luck, word of warning though, inducement didn't work with our first and he ended up having a sunroof birth because he was so blooming big.

expect mrs to be shattered by the time it comes - ours were both induced and had forceps deliveries - frightening!

btw the UK uses a shorter estimate for birth date than the rest of europe with the result that we have far too many induced births which would probably have been ok if left for another week or so.

Thanks all for the words of wisdom.

First one so naturally a little apprehensive! I reckon I'll be sent home this eve at around 10pm then called back at some point when it all kicks off.

Wife doing well, she's cooler than I am. Woman in next bed being violently sick isnt helping though!

330 MSport Touring purchased for baby stuff and Clio 172 Cup kept for me to play with. Wife has green lighted an RS4 Avant moving forward though so there are some benefits to this child thing :-)

One piece of advice....Ignore all advice.

Plus, when they do arrive, and all the fun is over and you head home for the night, sit yourself down, crack open a beer and enjoy the silence.
You'll never have it again.
Good luck!

I'm taking note of whats needed, ours is due in january. Might substitute evo mags with top gear mags though. Other recommendations welcome though.

Good luck with the little one OP!

Thanks gang!

There are two ice cold Peroni's sat in my fridge at home. They will be savoured later for sure..

Feel like I should let you know the outcome now so keep your eyes peeled and I will update when it's all over.

Enjoy your evenings!

Suggest you get a Top Marques too and start perusing the baby transport (all of course in the best interests of the family). My time in this situation got me an RS6...

Good luck and congrats smile
