re-painting brake calipers properly
Discussion
anyone have a link to a company that does proper de-rust, protect and paint of calipers to manufacturer or tasteful spec? I have the common modern car issue of tarnished and rusty calipers and wheels that you can easily see them through, probably as a result of using truck wash or acid to clean the wheels before I took ownership.

I never expected to see the words "painted calipers" and "tasteful" in the same sentence!!We're used this company for paint for engine blocks, hubs and vehicle undersides, they also do caliper paint. If you give them a call, they will recommend based on what you require.

car is a 2 year old jag XF i'm not about to start doing it myself with a wire brush and radiator paint! No offence, but I thought I had explained that I was after a company to do it professionally, and I also did not suggest doing it in lairy or chav colours - manufacturer spec. Apparently this is not covered under warranty, otherwise i would have had it done by now at the main dealer.
