Impressive when you consider that's 15mph above the car's top speed.
Did you get that off Wikipedia or did someone in the pub tell you?

Either way, your wrong I`m afriad.

My Z4 is limited to 155 but was showing circa 163 which I found strange, if you look on YouTube a fair few of them sail past the 155.

Could it be speedometer being inaccurate?
I thought normal BMWs were limited to 250km/h and the M cars were limited to 260km/h, they just don't claim a higher speed for the M cars. My old Z3 would sit at a GPS 161ish..

To answer the original question: not fast enough!

140-ish.

Deliberately not saying if that's km/h or mph.

Flat out at 141 in a Daewoo Matiz.
KM/H of course - about 87MPH.
Probably the scariest top speed run I've ever done.

96ish on the M1, looked at the speedo, realised I was a little too fast and slowed back down to the standard mid 80's cruising speed.

Have had a speedo reading on the GT3 of 325 km/h

Not sure about actual speed as I was not on GPS

Even though there have been some big speeds posted here, I wager that an indicated 105 in a defender would have been the scariest!
