Help find me a Shed!
Discussion
Hi Pistonheads.
I'm in the market for a shed, well budget £2000 to open it up a bit, and here's what I need:
It must be fairly large (to carry 6 Scuba Tanks and other equipment) and capable of driving me through europe so good sized engine. Fuel consumption is not an issue, and neither is reliability as long as it's not a smouldering bomb. I'm looking for suggestions on how to make it as interesting as possible, throw in your ideas!
My initial thought was a range rover or luxo 4x4 which is perfect for the gear, however it's boring. I've thought 540 or 328 estate as there will be alpine roads involved, however they're also pretty dull. I saw a series 3 XJ6 on the classifieds which I found very interesting, the boot would be a proper pain.
The car's pretty much a throw away, to be sold or scrapped in october or kept in the garage for another trip if it's interesting enough so something interesting with good resale potential then the budget restriction doesn't really apply.
What have you got for me?

There has to be a catch. That looks just too much value for money. Shed-tastic!

Much as I love 'em, the boot isn't that big.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-ALFA-ROMEO-156-V6-Q...
My vote would definitely be for a Volvo 850 T5 - forget the 'R' if its a throw-away, they're quite a bit more expensive and too nice for that. A decent T5 will set you back just £500-750 odd and still has plenty of go.
