Tyre wear - outer edge nearside front. Why ?
Discussion
The outer edge of my front near side tyre seems to be wearing at a faster rate than the rest of the tyre. Just wondered if this is a symptom of enthusiastic roundabout use, or could indicate a tracking issue. Car is an E39 M5, tyre a Goodyear Eagle F1. Bit grieving to have to buy more, given the rest of the tyre is ok ? Any thoughts...

Tracking affects both tyres.
Nope!Too much toe out scrubs the inside of the tyres. In this case, the left hand wheel will be going fairly straight and the right hand wheel will be pointing to the right, scrubbing the inside edge of its tyre.
I find it easier to visualise by pointing my hands toe-in or toe-out, and then imagining pushing them down the road!
Having said that, worn bushes or camber issues could also cause uneven wear.
