No, I meant why facelift a car and rename it at the same time? It's not like they can wax lyrical about the "new" A6 when everyone knows it's just a 100.No idea why BMW, Mercedes and Alfa didn't do similarly.

When I took my car to a garage once "Ah yes, a Toyota Corolla Starlet".
I bid him pretty much an instant farewell.
Another guy who literally yelled "IT'S NOT ONE OF THOSE BLOODY STUPID TURBO THINGS IS IT" as soon as he saw it didn't get my custom either.
