Do you automatically think drug dealer or footballers wife? Seems to be the worst driven vehicle on the road at the moment..

Usually I see them waiting to pull out, no one usually lets them pull out and rightly so!

Arguably not even that. More like wannabee, a la Danny Dire.

Not really. When I see anyone in an Ibiza I just think they are too poor to buy a VW - what do you think OP?

Dont really see that many about anymore, come to think of it that goes for most 4x4's. Where have they all gone? Regardless of their size, theyre mostly bland and pointless so dont stick out of the crowd and I dont notice them. I'm going to see loads tomorrow now arent I.

No, I think you've confused the X5 with a Range Rover Sport wink

That's because over the years, hatchbacks have evolved to the point where they now are the size of 4x4s. Hence why they blend in. biggrin

No. And why would drug dealers be bad drivers?

I exepct to see them bullying their way throgu traffic. Even if the driver is come council estate mum. A bit like pick-up drivers, but without the obligatory shaved head

saw one rear ended by a vauxhall astra yesterday on the A1 heading north.

Judging by the utterly collapsed front end on the astra and the complete lack of damage on the X5 I now look at them as tougher than their well rounded exterior suggests.

Chaps, I apologise for this very silly thread. I'd had a few to drink at the time... no offence intended to any owners.

None taken

I loved mine when i had it.

As my wife once said, we buy cars because we want them, not based on what other people might think - if it happens to piss other people off then thats just an added bonus!!

I've noticed the older generation of X5's are falling into the wrong hands and these are often driven by undesirables.

See plenty of 51/52 regs in black, with black windows and black flakey alloys, with obligatory 5ft tall skinhead at the wheel.
