Night. Always night, closely followed by dawn. Quietness is golden.

Don't mind but poor weather at night isn't much fun, even in the 7 Series.

Night time.

There are no middle lane hoggers or steering wheel munchers out.

When out for a casual drive, usually daylight. Roof down, sun shining etc etc. But I do enjoy night driving, when the roads are quiet. You've got to be able to read the road and really use road signs and observational links to your advantage. And of course, watch out for wildlife which is more active at night!

At night time I find my judgement and placement of the car takes a slight hit, not much but it does make a difference if you want to hoon around. An early morning run is the best time to go out IMO - starts getting light as early as 430am at the moment!

Driving at dawn is my favourite time, when I'm not too tired to notice that is..clear roads on a clear morning is a sensational driving environment..especially when the destination is not work

anytime thumbup although v. early morning is especially good - you feel like you've discovered a whole new world nobody knows about, and when the sun is just rising cloud9. Even motorways are nice then.

I dislike motorways at night though - carlove are you not worried you're going to fall asleep? That thought petrifies me on a motorway at night.

I quite enjoy driving at night, I can get about fairly quickly with very little stress as compared to the daytime.

That said, my favourite time is very early morning as the sun comes up, it's a new day ahead, there's very little traffic about and you often get great coloured skies to admire. smile

Night, but only if it's quiet enough to let me get the main beams on - don't like rattling along at 70 on a dual with only the dips, feels like you can't see far enough. Yes I have collided with wildlife at night... (to be fair, it happened on a well lit section of urban dual carriageway, bambi bounded out of some undergrowth about 0.5 secs before I hit him)
