I don't think it is any more compromised than a superbike as a toy?? Just because it has 4 wheels doen't mean it has to have 2 seats! But superbikes don't cost £80k..

Want. Good vid Mr. Harris.
True but a Ducati desmosedci does cost 40k and only has 2 wheels so 80k for 4 wheels seems about right hehe

Mine too. I find the perception of many on PH of what very specialised, very low volume sports cars should cost perplexing. I can understand "I don't want to pay what something that good costs" and even better understand "I can't afford it", but if you want something like this, it is never going to be cheap.

But you can get cars that do the same as this for less money, that's kind of the point........

As for "lottery win" cars, that makes me laugh, it's just a way of taxing idiots. A complete waste of money.

I'm not convinced that you can get another car that does the same as this for any money?

Everyone has different opinions on what a car's worth, but I think if I could have any one modern car in my garage for the weekends, irrespective of price, it would be this. Nothing else even seems to come close.

So you don't think a Caterham or Atom would offer the same thrills for less cash? Plus you get to take Mrs Kambites out at the same time.

I don't think either would offer exactly what this offers, no.

What would you say the main differences would be (other than lack of passenger seat)?

(genuine question)

and mine. The only thing that I can think of that might be an alternate consideration is a light car company rocket. I have no idea how much they cost or seen one in the flesh for that matter.

No, what gave you that idea? You asked what I thought and I told you.

Have you?

Not yet, but I'm not the one claiming this is better to drive than its rivals. As you are......

confused No, you're the one who seems to be claiming it's not better to drive, which you have exactly the same right to do as me.

In fact I didn't even say it was better to drive, I just said that I suspect it's better to drive. You absolutely said that it doesn't do anything that a Caterham or Atom doesn't, despite the fact you haven't driven it...

When did I say Thatt then? Oh that's right,I didn't. Yet you stated its rivals wouldn't be as much fun as this, which is beyond idiotic for you to say without actually driving one. I just stated the fact that rivals that do pretty much the same can be had for less money.........even the article compares it to Atom, Caterham & X-Bow.

Now point at where I said its rivals would be less fun?
