Car nightmare (literally!)
Discussion
I had a really strange dream last night. In my dream it was common place for adults to use a larger version of the 'crazy coupe' kid's car. Ordinary car users would push them along with their front bumper , this was only supposed to happen in slow moving / congested traffic.
My wife decided to push me along with her s class merc ( we don't even own a merc ) but once we were out of the congestion she decided to keep pushing me along , at speeds into triple figures . It was really scary . I woke up before my feet had been ground to a stump trying to slow it down.

I sometimes have dreams that my car was crashed or stolen, and I wake up the next morning all miserable, then I look outside, and everything is fine with the world again!
+1I also have dreams when someone vandalises my car, breaks the window, big long scratches along the side etc.. Also getting clamped (this happened once in real life, since then I get this alot)!
Christ yeah, funny how this happened to me a lot.
When I had my Porsche 911, it lived on my driveway for 4 years. It was 30 grand's worth of 2nd. hand 996, but for me, that represented an absolute fortune, I loved it like a child, and I worked very hard to afford it.
It took me 6 months of searching to find 'the one' in the spec I wanted. When I owned it, every day was a special day to even see it on my drive knowing it was mine.
However, the paranoia never went away - especially as it was a cabrio too, so inherently more insecure than a coupe.
I had an intruder light outside, a cctv camera in an upstairs window, an immobiliser and a tracker and fully comp. insurance. Plus it lived under a tailored cover.
But despite all that, over the 4 years, I reckon I had about 10 different dreams, in which in my dream I 'woke up' to find the car gone - or I was out in it and I smashed it to bits, or it got massively vandalised, or I got car-jacked.
There was more than one occasion where I woke up after one of these dreams, and even though I knew it was a dream, just in case it was a 'premonition' I sprang out of bed and rushed straight to the bedroom window to look down and see if it was ok (which it always was...)

This one's much better than mine! Something almost Freudian about it..!
