I'll get one!

It's actually engine number 4, chassis number 30, although it is likely Honda didn't start them at 1. The plaque inside says 00001

Not my cars, but my bike smoulders one in five starts.

I'm considering becoming concerned.

Ive seen lots of cars mainly older ones registered new years day but as dvla r shut i never figured out how.
I would guess they put the forms in and postdate them to register from 01 01 so i guess a lot were dealer pre regs?

One of 168 made with 20 on the world wide register, with a fair few of them in pieces in garages, so quite a rare sight, especially when it's loaded up with shopping at the local supermarket. hehe

So it does, its 332/335

Its 332 of the UK cars, and 335 of the "world wide" cars or something.

Infact, I just dug out this

The doorcard on the Galaxy is held on by a bolt through a bmx bike spanner.

Not convinced it was a common feature.

rofl I am sure it will be fine. That is statistically insignificant.

My previous car was used in a serious crime and has been to 26 countries.

My old Mondeo ST220 was used in an attempted bank robbery and was once caught full of drugs at the Dover port. Ironically, it was also once an unmarked fast response vehicle for West Mercia!

I thought that vehicles found with copious ammounts of cocaine (It was in the doors, engine bay, even the headlining!) were crushed?

So your VIN is DC2-1100001? Or is your numbered plaque 0001?

My DC2 plaque was 2762, which didn't match the VIN number.

So if your plaque is 0001, it's just the numbered plaque the interior-assembly guy grabbed at random out of the plaque bin.

Granted. Plaque is 0001. Chassis number 30. Engine number 4.

Letter from Honda who confirm chassis and engine do not start at 1. It might not literally be the first in the true sense, but still pretty chuffed.
