Don't they repeat the journey to get the shots they need for the feature?
Thats what the stigs book says happens, they actually drive the car there and do the challenge for real. then do "pick up" shots on the return legOr is the camera team's Astramax faster and they just keep catching him up?

Neither sound very feasible to me, given the alternative, which is contriving the whole thing from the start...

So all the overtaking shots are done in the wrong direction, or they double back dozens of times up and down junctions to get the shot in the right direction?

various people from the TG team have commented on the events over time, they are real and they are designed to be close, they then come back with the car and over 4-7 days setup all the external shots Neither sound very feasible to me, given the alternative, which is contriving the whole thing from the start...

Finishing within an hour of each other would be bloody unlikely for most of them.

My eye. Has there ever been a challenge that didn't come down to, say, the last three minutes?

SLR Vs Ferry & boats to Oslo. Clarkson had caught a plane and was home eating his tea by the time Hammond and May arrived in Oslo.Finishing within an hour of each other would be bloody unlikely for most of them.

I also heard that Eastenders was a documentary.I can't believe we are having the "TG is just an entertainment show" discussion again. I don't believe for second it is any more than good editing, but what do I care, I'll still watch every episode and laugh along at the unfortunate accidents/coincidences.

When the Bugatti raced the aircraft, May and Hammond ran up to the bar to find Clarkson already there with no indication as to how long he'd been there. As if he'd been there well in advance but the film was edited to disguise it.Finishing within an hour of each other would be bloody unlikely for most of them.
Why contrive a close result then not show it?
