Nissan..Worlds worst designs?
Discussion
Unfortunately some of their best have never made it to these shores as official offerings, Nissan have an ability to do retro modern like few, if any, others.
Oh and what other mass manufacturer offers an equivalent to the GTR?
Current Micra is st though, they've lost the plot with that.

I like them as well, maybe because they are different but still decent cars. Also have a strange desire to get a Pathfinder. The front end of the face lifted X-Trail (about a year or so old) also looks good to me, especially in light colours.
The Juke Dig-T has the forthcoming RenaultSport Clio engine in, is petrol turbo and is AWD, not bad...?

Isn't the Cube only imported to order?
There was a grey market for a while.Nissan then made it officially available for the UK Market.
They did not sell enough, and it was dropped. Something tells me they only sold 1600...
Feel free to correct me anyone.
Oh, and I like it!

Now y'see, that looks great to me (pink excepted, you purposely found a pic of a pink one didn't you? ). It's cool, rare, and a Micra underneath so it won't be expensive. No it probably doesn't handle like an MX5, but who cares, go get an MX5 instead. I'd rather see Jukes and Cubes than normal/boring designs. I preferred the old Micra to the new one.
I shall go and sit in the corner and cry - a couple of my cars could be termed 'the world's worst designs!'
I also personally like the Cube, Qashqai, and Juke because they are different - the road is full of grey/silver diesel bland-boxes. Seems the general public tend to agree too - the Juke and Qashqai have both been huge showroom successes.
Interesting that the OP doesn't list his car(s).....

Apart from the new Micra, I think Nissan have one of the best ranges of designs.
Juke and Cube are challenging - but that is refreshing. They are Marmite cars and the market needs these as an alternative to VW type greyness
On the mainstream cars, Note is a far more cohesive design than most of its rivals (Modus, Fusion, Meriva)and Qashqai is chunky rather than mumsy.
GTR and 370Z are lookers too...

In that segment it is easy to end up with another very conventional looking and forgettable thing, half of that class look the same, the Juke is distinctive, dramatic and maybe a little offensive to some, I like the boldness, non car enthusiasts will know what it is, there is a bit of a vibe about it, like Minis and stuff, housewives will want one, young girls will want one and even the odd bloke. With a smaller car there is less space to do something elegant (1 series coupe, looks like a hat) so they went for odd angles and shapes, it works.
As a design it makes sense for current road conditions with the potholes, its a bit higher than an average hatchback, big wheels and tyres, chunky bodywork and available with 4wd, it is a car that for a lot of people will do it all and isn't stupidly big.
Nissan are selling a lot of them, Vauxhall have been making the new Astra look as swoopy and sporty as possible but it isn't as popular, Nissan have struck the right balance between purposeful and wilfully ugly, Ford tried Willfully ugly with the Scorpio and Fiat with the Multipla but both got it wrong.
So, just because you dont like it, it doesnt make it a bad design !

It's funny. When someone produces a regular car, they are spoken about as white goods, bland, euro boxes, and the like, but when a company try to make something a little different, they seem to get shot at. Interesting that the OP doesn't list his car(s).....
