Am I the only one who finds this depressing? It's sad that the Cube has been removed from the UK market, while miserable stters like the Audi A1 are successful.
And you drive a......?
And you drive a......?
Ford Focus ST2.

Haven't sat in one myself, but apparently the rear view mirror is curved at the top, combined with the rear window being curved at the bottom, you don't see much behind you. They didn't really think it through on that one.
Or perhaps they did that is why they have a reversing camera. Horrible, horrible car though. Based on the classic Renault 21 the diesel model happily sucks the rubber headlight covers from inside and into the turbo intake so it goes bang. Most uneconomical diesel engine ever? Perhaps? Noisiest diesel engine ever? Probably. Huge slug and at the mo, the worst car it has ever been my misfortune to drive.

Had a juke as a hire car and was not impressed with the suspension it was well too hard we could feel if we ran of a cigarettes butt. Unfortunately we had a 1.6 and was so underpowered going up hills we had to have pedal to the floor to keep 70+.

And yes dam ugly outside and not that good inside.

vomit The Nissan Figaro!
I don't really understand the hate of these. It certainly can't be based on logic or reason.

Cheap to run and maintain. Perky turbo charged motor, lovely interior for this class of vehicle and an interesting funky exterior that has the added bonus of open top motoring. I fail to see a single reason to hate it.

What other hatch/coupe of this class has an interior even half as cool as this?

The only real downside is they were auto only and no manual option.

What would it take to get it on the road? Looks like great fun smile
That would be an utter riot. I had the late K11 1.4 Sport+, 865kg and 82 bhp and that was pretty nippy (almost Saxo VTR pace), so 730 kg and 150 bhp is really going to shift!

There's a difference between being interesting and being ugly for the sake of being ugly.

The Juke is the latter.

I just don't get why they sell in the numbers they do as well.

Nissan have gone from one of the most boring manufacturers in terms of design to one of the most interesting.

IMO the latest generation qashqai is a very nice looking car, not their boldest though!

GTR Juke anybody?

The OP is probably quite a dull person.

The A pillars on the cube seem a bit wide to me. possible blind spot?

Still Postman Pat would love it

I thought the juke was bloody atrocious.

My eyes are now recovering from my first sighting of the Cube.

What in Gods name convinces anyone to buy one of these things?

It appears that this piece of mobile detritus appeared on our shores in 2009, Must be a popular car as its the first (and hopefully last) one i have ever seen

I apologise to all the Jap desihn lovers out there but it is ieal car for 70 yr old idiot drivers

Absolutely agree. If you have to drive a Micra, why not have a funky retro one? Granted, not manly, but still, I like em.
