I know it has only done 2700 miles, but HOW much?!
Discussion
What's to say they sold for the asking price?
After all, can an admittedly nice condition but still 29 year old VW Golf GTi with 131k on the clock, really be worth £10k?

To be fair, this seems a reasonable price. If it's as good as the description - then I can see it being sold fairly swiftly.

I'm waiting for something to finish at work - so I'm passing the time the best way that I know how.

Always liked these.
Although with some of these cars been garage queens I wonder what the history is like. The advert for the below 7 series reads like it has only had four services in ten years. I'm sure that it should have been serviced since May 2010. Looks very nice though.

HISTORY FILE
This 740i Sport was first registered in May 2001 (so built in the last 2 months of production) and the first 3 services were done at BMW main dealers and the last at a well known BMW specialist at 29,536 miles in May 2010. The history file also contains all the old service receipts that detail the exact work that was carried out, the old MOT certificates to further verify the low mileage and most of the old tax disks.
The car also comes with its leather BMW document holder that has the handbook, owners manuals and the spare keys.

These guys excel at this stuff, they have excellent stock but it's always, without fail massively overpriced.
Given that they keep selling, it's probably not "without fail massively overpriced". It's a bit like the BMW E28s, E34s etc that Derin used to restore/detail and sell at 'high' prices (he's packing it in, which is a shame).
He'd get plenty of posters on here berating him for his 'comedy' prices. His argument was that he's only looking for the tiny % of potential buyers who want the best they can find. And he's sold all his cars hasn't he? Personally I think his last one, a lovely Mercedes 190e 2.6 at £5750, was seriously good value - but plenty of others will say "no way, a 190e is worth £1500 tops mate" etc etc. He wasn't trying to sell his cars to those people, and 4star aren't either.
I'm not arguing that some of those are hideously overpriced, but regarding some of the relatively recent metal, with engines barely run in, why should they be worth much less than new? Why is 6 year old car with 2k on the clock worth less than a 2 month old car with 2k on the clock?
Seems perfectly reasonable to me, especially if somebody particularly wants an older model M3/RS4, but in 'as new' condition.

That actually doesn't strike me as particularly bad value for money after a bit of bargaining - find another original low mileage one, since most will be nearer 200k miles, or rusted away to nothing. Definitely one for a collector or someone that wants to take it to shows, rather than a daily driver though.http://www.devonshiremotorcompany.co.uk/view.asp?I...

I think if you want to keep the car as a low miles, perfect example then it may be worth paying. Also some people may see certain cars like the Audi being something of a collectors item later in life. (Whether it will/won't I don't know)Seems perfectly reasonable to me, especially if somebody particularly wants an older model M3/RS4, but in 'as new' condition.
But for those who just want a six year old car with a decent history that they can use every day, they won't be fussed about 40-60K on the clock as long as the car is well maintained etc.
Those old SL's etc will be passed around by people who use them in the summer months only. If I had the resources I'd have one.

Those cars should be utterly MINT for the prices they are asking. Good luck to them, because if they arent, they wont sell and market forces suggest that buyers will go elsewhere....
But £22k for an E30 M3 cab? With 87k miles? Bloody hell, stretching things a little. Knock £5k off the price and we are in the ballpark. But hey, if they sell them I am not going to tell them they are wrong.
Then again, a quick Google and I found this:

£36k.... bloody hell, I am in the wrong game!
