"Would all this carry through onto the track? After all, surely the Mulsanne is named after a straight rather than a corner for a reason?"

Sory to be a geek but i thought Mulsannne was a corner as well?

I have to say this car grows on me.

If just the dashboard would be little bit less "ritzy".

Mulsanne is actually a corner on the track, the straight we Brits know as the Mulsanne straight is actually Les Hunaudieres, a name Bentley applied to a concept car:

Amazing what that house can do.

But boy does it look ugly from the front end.

What were they thinking? The twin headlamps looked SO much better

There's a video on the PistonheadsTV channel on YouTube of the Mulsanne driving through a raging river.

I used did my year out at an engineering consultancy. One of the two guys who owned the company also owned a Bentley Continental R (it was 1992-3). He always wore a pinstripe suit and smoked big cigars, and he was a really nice guy, these things are not related though. One of his favorite pass times was the traffic light grand prix. As he described it a pimply faced youth in a ratty hot hatch pulled u next to him at the lights he would rev the engine a couple of times to get the idea across and then blitz them in his turbo charged stately home.

He success record was the main reason he preferred a bentley !

Deinfitley saw THIS car on the M40 southbound at about 7.30am yesterday!

Driving sedately but with that numberplate, very easy to spot!
