I would like to get a 3yr old Certified Pre-Owned of one of the above, but I can't decide.
M3 - Best driver's car of the bunch, best gear box. Although just another 3 series unless you wring it's neck. Is it special enough?
C63 - Amazing engine note, great interior. Not sure if the slow flappy paddle changes would drive me nuts after a while.
IS-F - Probably very reliable, again, nice engine. Not sure on the styling, and eight gears has me thinking I'd be changing gear more than accelerating.
Any thoughts on the above? All would be 2009 cars with about 30k-40k miles on them. This would be my daily driver, and I'd be keeping it for at least 5 yrs.

C63. Great sheep in wolfs clothing, great engine note, best residuals.
Really? They're not exactly subtle are they? They make one hell of a noise, have mahoosive shiny wheels and a rather lairy bodykit. Oh god I want one. Especially after seeing this one at Spa last weekendMercedes C63 AMG course car at Spa. by Matt.Ridings, on Flickr
Seeing that drifting round Pouhon was just exquisite, and the noise

Saw a black one the other day, no badging anywhere, standard amg wheels and exhaust aside it would pass most punters by, although I guess the IS-F and M3 are probably in the same camp.

when an M3 passes me, it's just another 3-series.
A C63 makes me look and turn around.
I only remember seeing one IS-f - a vinyl wrapped one in Manchester city centre being raped between the lights.
I voted C63.

Funny, I wouldn't even be able to tell a C63 from just another C class or an ISF from another IS (well actually I can) but isn't that kind of the point of all of these cars?A C63 makes me look and turn around.

M3 for me.
Yes it looks just like a regular 3 , though anybody who really cares will be able to tell,
and it has the best engine IMO. Yes the other 2 have rumbling, throaty big capacity V8s but those engines do not have the sheer motorsport zing of the BMW. Their best work is between 2 nd 4k rpm, the BMW is just getting going at 5k and screams to the redline like a sportscar should.
It also handles the best, is very good at the dual role and can be had with a manual box (Or an excellent DCT) both way better than any slushbox auto. Its also going to get a useful 2-5mpg more than certainly the Merc.
